About Me

My name is Dan Rayner, I am 32 years old and I have a huge passion for health and fitness! I am a Registered Exercise Professional in level 3 personal training and have now been in the fitness industry for over 11 years. Over that time I have helped many individuals achieve their own personal goals through personalised nutrition targets, in depth customized workout routines, as well as my constant support via one on one personal training. I have always been fascinated with the world of fitness, I can guarantee at some point I have tried and tested most fitness theories. So I know what it takes to achieve a better physique, a healthier mind and how to create a maintainable lifestyle.

2015 and 2016 were huge years in my life in terms of personal achievements. November 22nd 2015 I was crowned Pure Elite's Beach Body World Champion at amateur level, earning my professional status as a competitor. April 23rd 2016 I decided to compete again, but this time for a different category in a qualifier event. I took 3rd Place for International Male Model, again earning my professional status. My biggest and proudest moment of my life came on November 5th 2016. I took to the 02 stage in London and competed in both of my chosen categories, I went on to be crowned Pro Beach Body World Champion, Pro International Male Model World Champion and then took 3rd overall out of every single competitor at the pro show! An emotional, overwhelming and unforgettable day in my life, that with live with me forever.

I wanted to somehow go one better in 2017 and it has led to be the biggest year of my life and career so far. In February I was taken on by the Fitness company 'My Protein' as a regular blogger. In April, I was approached by the big UK company 'Muscle Food' to come on board as a fitness writer, putting together articles that could help and inspire people in their own fitness journeys. April also saw me being crowed the Coleman Classic International Male Model Winner. Towards the end of the year I wanted to do something huge, something that could put my name on the map. I competed in 3 fitness shows in 3 weekends during the month of October, I placed 4th and 5th in new federations to me. Then finishing of a special year by being crowned the Pure Elite Pro Beach Body World Champion.

In 2018 I went on to win a fourth consecutive Beach Body World Title. I have now won that crown four years in a row and am currently the only Pure Elite Athlete who has ever won 4 back to back world titles. I Believe if you put your mind to it you can achieve anything. I took a year off in 2019, and then made a return to the stage in 2020. Late in the year, I went on to take the Beach Body World Title for a 5th time, as well as collecting the International Male Model World Champion trophy. Don't get me wrong, I haven't always been in the best shape of my life and have had to work hard to get where I am today. I am not genetically gifted and It does take time, will power and dedication to reach your goals.

In 2021 and 2022, I have stepped back away from the stage and focused on other fitness related goals. Looking more into strength training, running events and just taking a different approach to fitness. I will never regret competing on stage, as I feel that has helped build my business and put my name on the 'fitness map'. With my 11 years experience I have learned to find a balance in my fitness life. There's more than just being lean for social media and competing in shows. It's about your heart, your fitness levels, your quality of life and your mental health.
